BBL Laser Treatment

What is BBL? BBL (BroadBand Light), by Sciton™, is intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that addresses multiple skin concerns. It sets new standards in treating skin conditions associated with aging, active lifestyles, and sun damage.

How does it work? The light energy delivered by BBL is selected for your individual skin concerns. Absorption of that energy by the target tissue results in specific changes to the skin.

What can BBL do for me? BBL energy allows your physician to treat age spots, sun spots, small facial veins, and many other skin conditions. Your physician’s treatment plan will be tailored to match your skin type and desired results.

BBL is effective and delivers incredible results for clearer, smoother skin with no downtime after treatment. BBL can help with the following:

  • Acne, skin tone, and skin texture
  • Laser hair reduction
  • Sun damage, dark spots, freckles, and sunspots
  • Lighten and smooth out skin pigmentation rosacea, inflammation, and vascular lesions
  • Restore firmness to aging skin

Dr. Arledge and her team review all laser treatment options and decide with you, which method of treatment can best help improve the appearance of the desired treatment area.

Ultherapy

According to Ultherapy website (maker of Ulthera machine in our office), We would be the ONLY provider with this service offering.

For those who are not ready for a surgical facelift, Ultherapy provides proven results in a single treatment for most patients. Learn how to treat your loose skin without surgery, without impacting the surface of your skin, and without downtime.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to go deeper than other non-invasive treatments for collagen stimulation. And it leverages traditional ultrasound imaging so your provider can see the layers of tissue they are treating. This ensures the treatment energy is delivered to where it benefits you most --for natural-looking results that improve over time.

How does Ultherapy work?

Collagen and elastin are natural proteins that give skin its youthful appearance by keeping it firm and toned. As we age, collagen and elastin break down, and the result is a loss of skin strength and elasticity. That’s where Ultherapy steps in to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin.

You may be a candidate if:

  • You want to tighten or firm a small area that isn't large even to warrant surgery
  • You have sagging skin in a specific area
  • You wish to avoid surgery to achieve your desired look

ProFractional Laser

What is ProFractional Laser?

Our ProFractional laser by Sciton could be your solution for achieving excellent resurfacing results. ProFractional utilizes an erbium: YAG laser with a high ablation efficiency and very little thermal conduction which maximizes patient comfort while minimizing patient downtime. ProFractional Er:YAG resurfacing allows deep dermal penetration to remove visible signs of skin damage, and rejuvenate the dermal collagen matrix for improved tone and texture.

How does it work?

  • ProFractional providers have the ability to adjust treatment parameters independently.
  • ProFractional ablates narrow-diameter channels into the skin, covering a fraction of the total surface area. This action initiates the remodeling of collagen and elastin while leaving the surrounding tissue intact for rapid healing.
  • Our providers select ablation depth, coagulation, density, and scan pattern options to create your customized treatment plan. A laser guide beam facilitates the provider's ability to achieve ultimate precision.

Treatable areas include neck, chest, hands, arms, legs, as well as face.

The Erbium Profractional laser can be used to treat pigmented lesions, acne scars, unfavorable scars, wrinkles, and can even help maintain your results.

You may be a candidate if:

  • You avoid showing your skin because you are unhappy with the overall look and texture
  • You have acne or other scarring
  • You want to treat certain types of pigmented lesions
  • You want to maintain your improved skin quality
